Design Story

The palette is disciplined: burnt umber, charcoal and warm ember tones across a distressed plank texture, lifted by soft cream ghost forms and scattered maple leaves in rust orange. Placement is deliberate. The largest ghost anchors the lower left third, a second smiles centrally, a third peeks from the upper middle, and a fourth leans in from the right edge, creating a diagonal rhythm across the rectangle. A pale moon and two small bats sit in the upper right as quiet negative-space punctuation. Dark, almost vignetted borders frame the artwork and keep the motif from spilling off the edge.
